Hirobel is a specially designed clamp for bicycle repair stands that makes it easier to work on your bike. It better distributes stresses and loads through the bicycle frame, offering superior stability while eliminating possible crushing or damage to thin-walled and shaped tubing. The pressure clamps used on contemporary workstands were developed for round steel tubing more than 40 years ago, predating carbon fiber, aluminum, aerodynamic and oversized tube shapes, integrated seat masts, dropper posts, and suspension systems. These legacy designs assume your bicycle tubing to be both round and straight, and when it is not, the clamp can impart very high point loads at the clamp edges causing finish damage, internal carbon layup damage, or outright crushing of tubes on the lightest designs. With Hirobel, specially shaped, paint-friendly cones and bindings cradle the frame at the tube intersections, where wall thicknesses are higher and forces can be distributed over much larger surface areas. Adjustable and adaptable for any possible frame design, the Hirobel also allows the repair stand clamp to be located closer to the bicycle center of gravity. This allows a 0.1mm interference fit when pressing the 30.2mm headset of the “Euro” one-inch standard. - 754.2: This reamer is sized to 33.9mm. It is used to ream head tubes to accept “internal” headset cups with 56.00–56.10mm O.D. (1-1/2 ZS standard). It is used for cutting the lower head tube on frames using an IS47 bearing for a 1-1/4" integrated headset. It cuts a 45-degree bearing set shoulder.
