Product Details

2014 GT Performer

GT's Performer is pretty much the bike that introduced freestyle to the world almost 30 years ago. This modern version promises to take your skills to a new level, just like the original did a whole generation ago. Boasting a tough chromoly main frame, stout aluminum wheels, a set of pegs and a sealed Mid bottom bracket, the Performer is ready to carry out the craziest of tricks. And it comes with class-defining BMX spec like 3-piece tubular-chromoly cranks, 25/9 micro gearing with a 1-piece driver and plastic pedals. The torch has been passed to you.

Decent beginner bike, not a jumper

      Comments:

Rode it on some dirt jumps when I first got it and the bearings started squeaking. I rode it in the city hard and the brake cable cracked, crank cracked 6 inches down one arm, sprocket bent, handlebars bent and I had to replace both tubes. It is a decent bike strong frame and wheels, but is not a serious jumper. Designed for an entry level rider.
