2012 Schwinn 411 IG5

Schwinn's 411 IG5 is utilitarian cool incarnate. This well-appointed city bike will get you where the action is with its nimble aluminum frame, fast-rolling 700c wheels and easy-to-operate, low-maintenance Sturmey Archer 5-speed drivetrain that lets you cruise over the hills. You'll also love the mechanical-disc brakes for excellent all-conditions stopping power, and the flat-resistant tires. Plus, the 411 sports a handy integrated basket and a top-tube protector to prevent dings from parking.

    Comments:

This bike is a good value. The ride is solid and quiet. It's not very fast/efficient. The Chain gaurd is chincey and mine was not fitted properly. The gear changing apparatus has gotten out of wack twice during the eight months. I've taken back for service and my LBS' tech sent me on my way only to have to return minutes later to get it done right/better. Changed the rear gear cog to a larger one really helped handle the SF hills a lot.
